Chay Suede scene in 'Quem Ama Cuida' sparks tributes to Lua Blanco
A scene in the Globo telenovela ‘Quem Ama Cuida’ featuring Chay Suede and Letícia Colin has drawn significant attention from viewers, who interpreted it as a tribute to the late actress Lua Blanco. In the sequence, Suede’s character receives a red tie, an accessory reminiscent of the costumes worn in the teen soap opera ‘Rebelde’. During the scene, the character mentions having worn ties since his adolescence, a detail fans linked to Suede’s past role in the production.
Lua Blanco, who played Roberta Messi in the Brazilian remake of ‘Rebelde’, passed away recently at the age of 39 following a battle with intestinal cancer. While social media users and former colleagues, including actress Mel Fronckowiak, reacted emotionally to the scene, the production director, Nathalia Ribas, stated that the inclusion of the red tie was a coincidence and that the scene was filmed prior to Blanco’s death.
