Che Guevara's legacy and Cuban Revolution defended in Italy
Events in Italy and Argentina have highlighted the ongoing relevance of Marxist theory and the defense of the Cuban Revolution. In Italy, a literary event focused on the works of Che Guevara, specifically his writings regarding revolutionary warfare and the concept of the ‘New Man’. Proceeds from book sales at the event are designated to purchase medical aid for the Ernesto Guevara Teaching Polyclinic in the Granma province of Cuba.
Participants at the Italian event, including Nando Simeone and Rome City Councilor Alessandro Luparelli, discussed the impact of the United States blockade on the Cuban population. They framed the Cuban social process as an alternative to capitalism and emphasized the importance of solidarity and altruism in the face of external economic pressures.
In Rosario, the Militant Communist Organization also promoted political literature and public actions aimed at defending the Cuban Revolution, asserting that revolutionary theory serves as an essential guide for social transformation and organized class struggle.
