Cheat Fuuyo anime set to premiere October 6

The TV anime adaptation of ‘The Banished Cheat-Granting Magician Enjoys a Carefree Second Life’ (commonly known as ‘Cheat Fuuyo’) is scheduled to begin broadcasting on October 6 at 24:00 on the TV Tokyo network. The series, produced by P. A. WORKS, is based on the light novel by Asa Rokushi.

New cast members have been announced, including Daisuke Kusuda as the guild master Barios, Megumi Toyoguchi as the vice-guild master Glenda, and Takumi Yamazaki as the mascot character Donguri. The opening theme song, ‘Embar Torch’, will be performed by the musical group sumika.

Promotional materials, including a main visual and a promotional video, have also been released. The visual features the protagonist Rain alongside members of the ‘Blue Crystal’ guild, while also depicting characters from the ‘King Beast Fang’ guild, hinting at the unpredictable and chaotic nature of the story.
