Cheb depot hosts National Railway Day celebrations

The Cheb depot is hosting celebrations for National Railway Day, featuring a program that spans historical and modern technology. The event includes the official opening of a new repair hall and guided tours of exhibits on a turntable.

Visitors can view a wide range of locomotives, including steam, diesel, and electric models, as well as modern battery-powered units like the RegioPanter and InterJet sets. The Saturday program is scheduled to conclude with a light show at 20:00, featuring over a dozen locomotives illuminated to music.

Family-oriented activities such as workshops, face painting, and children's performances are also planned. Access to the depot is available via train, with discounts offered for attendees.
