Check Point launches AI Network Firewall for enterprise security

Check Point Software Technologies announced the AI Network Firewall, integrated into its firewall software release R82.20 and forming part of the company’s AI Defense Plane. The new capability extends firewall visibility to AI prompts, autonomous‑agent interactions and large‑language‑model traffic, allowing organizations to discover AI applications, inspect prompts and responses in real time, block prompt‑injection attacks and enforce security policies across AI workloads without adding infrastructure or redesigning the network.

Chief Product Officer Nataly Kremer said the product addresses the rapid rise of AI use, noting that 87 %–93 % of enterprises experience at least one high‑risk generative‑AI interaction each month and that sensitive data now appears in roughly one in 25 prompts. The AI Network Firewall aims to give security teams the control needed to adopt AI safely and at scale.
