Check Point releases 2025 ESG report highlighting AI security and sustainability

Check Point Software Technologies has published its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, titled “Securing the Path Toward a Responsible Future.” The report stresses the company’s focus on AI‑driven cyber security, noting that its ThreatCloud AI platform now prevents about 4.6 billion cyberattacks each year.

In 2025 Check Point secured FedRAMP and GovRAMP authorisations, allowing it to provide cyber‑security services to U.S. federal, state and local agencies. The ESG data include the first disclosure of Scope 3 emissions, with 83 % of office electricity offset by renewable sources and a 31 % year‑on‑year reduction in Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions intensity. A climate‑risk assessment aligned with the TCFD framework was also completed.

The report records workforce‑development progress: 796,468 individuals have been trained in cybersecurity since 2022, achieving roughly 80 % of the target to train one million people by 2028. The company’s Cyber Center hosted 11,700 visitors in 2025, bringing the cumulative total to 30,000. Check Point employs 7,179 staff globally, 65 % in technical roles, and has increased corporate donations by 49 % to support around 200 non‑profits. Governance highlights include 78 % board independence and 100 % completion of ethics and compliance training, alongside a stated commitment to responsible AI governance. Partnerships with OpenAI’s Trusted Access for Cyber program and integration of Anthropic’s Claude Compliance API further illustrate its AI‑security strategy.
