Chef Adam Handling condemns family after chickens killed at Cornwall pub

Chef Adam Handling, owner of The Tartan Fox pub near Newquay in Cornwall, posted a video describing an incident in which a family ignored signs to keep dogs on leads. Their dogs ran loose, attacked the free‑roaming chickens on the premises and several birds later died despite being nursed back to health.

Handling said the family's children entered the chicken coop and smashed about 30 to 40 fertilised eggs against a tree. He called the behaviour "evil" and blamed the parents for failing to control their pets and children, expressing disappointment and hurt over the loss of the birds and eggs.
