Chef Arnold apologizes to Oki Rengga over film comments

Chef Arnold Poernomo has issued an apology and deleted a social media thread following a dispute with comedian Oki Rengga. The conflict originated from a debate on the Threads platform between Arnold and Muhadkly Acho regarding the management of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program.

During the exchange, Arnold accused Acho of seeking engagement and linked the situation to the upcoming film “Gak Ada Matinya,” which Acho is producing. Oki Rengga intervened, stating that the film involves many hardworking crew members and actors, and denied that the controversy was a promotional gimmick.

Arnold subsequently apologized for involving the film production in the personal dispute. Oki Rengga clarified at a film premiere that the disagreement was a result of personal frustration and not a marketing strategy.
