Chef David Gibello to tour Jerez and Sanlúcar for gastronomy and wine

Chef and media personality David Gibello will conduct a gastronomic and viticultural tour of Jerez de la Frontera and Sanlúcar de Barrameda from September 1 to 5. The itinerary focuses on the traditions and products of the Jerez region.

On September 1, Gibello will visit Bodegas Álvaro Domecq in Jerez to explore fortified wines and the city's connection to equestrian culture. The following day will be dedicated to exploring local fish markets and maritime history. During his stay, he will broadcast his radio programs, ‘Con 5 ingredientes’ (Cadena SER) and ‘Gente de la Calle’ (Radio Interior), from the Hotel Palacio Marqués de Arizon in Sanlúcar.

On September 3, the tour continues at Bodegas Yuste in Sanlúcar, where he will sample the manzanilla ‘La Kika’. Gibello, a recipient of the 2026 Gastronomy Internet Award for Spain and Ibero-America, aims to combine enology and gastronomy with media outreach.
