Chef Jasmine J'nea Cherry hosts Houston-inspired dinner in Shreveport

Chef Jasmine J'nea Cherry hosted a special one-night-only dining event titled ‘A Taste of Houston’ at The Noble Savage in downtown Shreveport. Held during Black Restaurant Week, the four-course meal was designed to showcase the chef’s Houston roots blended with Louisiana culinary influences.

The menu included a coastal opening of smoked shrimp and blue crab, redfish over creamy risotto with crispy collard greens, coffee-rubbed short rib with poblano mashed potatoes and ancho chile demi-glace, and a bourbon peach tres leches dessert. The event, priced at $60 per person, highlighted local culinary talent within the Shreveport food community.
