Chef Sebouh Yacoubian to compete on Top Chef Canada

Armenian-Canadian chef Sebouh “Seb” Yacoubian is set to compete in the 13th season of Top Chef Canada, which premieres Tuesday, October 20, on Flavour Network. Yacoubian, the 32-year-old executive chef and co-owner of the Michelin-recognized Toronto restaurant Taline, is one of 12 contestants in the new season.

A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Yacoubian aims to represent his family and the Armenian community through his contemporary interpretation of traditional Armenian cuisine. The competition season features nine new contestants and three returning chefs, with hosting by Eden Grinshpan and a judging panel including Mark McEwan, Janet Zuccarini, and Mijune Pak.
