Chef Vincent Yeow Lim shares culinary favorites and career highlights

Chef and TikTok personality Vincent Yeow Lim, known as ‘Dim Sim Lim’, has shared insights into his culinary background and favorite dining locations. Lim, who rose to prominence through viral content such as a KFC chicken and rice hack, transitioned from running his grandfather’s restaurant, Lawson Chinese, to becoming a cookbook author and television personality.

Lim recently participated in the Channel 9 cooking show ‘Chefs Ahoy’, where he traveled to Busan, South Korea, to source ingredients from local fish markets for a cruise ship challenge. His culinary preferences include Malaysian dishes like satay skewers and laksa bombs at Sydney’s Ho Jiak Town Hall, as well as Sichuan spicy mala grilled fish at Chao Express.
