Chef Yuichiro Sasaki Opens Ezo Omakase Sushi Restaurant in Santa Clara

Chef Yuichiro Sasaki, co‑owner Darren Yu and their team opened Ezo Omakase, a traditional Edomae‑style omakase restaurant in Santa Clara, California. The venue, which seats 32, entered a soft‑opening phase in May and offers a 16‑18‑course dinner priced at $220 per person plus a 20 % service charge. An optional sake pairing is available for an additional $80 per guest.

Ezo Omakase uses only wild‑caught fish, with selections made at Tokyo’s Toyosu Fish Market, and air‑freights specialty items such as kuruma ebi directly from Japan. The restaurant shares its address with the new coffee shop Void, which opened on July 27, joining a recent wave of omakase openings in Silicon Valley.
