Chelmsford City secures win against Evesham but exits Essex Senior Cup

Chelmsford City experienced mixed results in recent football fixtures. In a match against Evesham United at The Spiers and Hartwell Stadium, City secured a 2-0 victory. Jordan Tillson opened the scoring in the 52nd minute with a 25-yard shot that took a deflection, and Alex Fisher sealed the win with a penalty in the final minute.

In contrast, Chelmsford City’s Essex Senior Cup campaign concluded with a 2-0 defeat against Wivenhoe Town. Despite featuring a squad with significant academy talent, the side was unable to overcome the hosts, who scored goals in both halves to end City’s run in the competition.
