European clubs and Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal have driven an unprecedented level of spending in the 2024 summer transfer window. Chelsea and Al Hilal top the list, each completing multiple high‑value deals that have shattered previous market records.

Key moves include Al Hilal’s $80 million signing of West Ham winger Cristian Samrel from the Premier League, a $45 million four‑year contract for Portuguese international Francisco Trincão moving from Sporting Lisbon to Al Ahli Saudi, and the $22 million transfer of Brazilian striker Marco Leonardo from Al Hilal to Ajax. Chelsea broke the British record by paying $156.42 million for Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa.
