Chelsea close to signing Olympiacos goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis

Olympiacos international goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis, 23, returned to Athens on 24 July to settle remaining paperwork before traveling to England. Sources say the transfer to Chelsea is between 90 % and 95 % complete, with the English club expected to finalise the deal shortly.

Olympiacos have already begun looking for a replacement. The club’s preferred option is Portuguese keeper José Sa, while Croatian international Dominik Livaković is ruled out due to injury. Other goalkeepers such as Sérgio Eira and Stefanos Ortega have also been mentioned, but Sa remains the front‑runner to fill the vacancy left by Tzolakis.
