Chelsea completes €55 m Marco Palestra transfer as FCSB stalls Florin Tânase contract
Chelsea have reached a principle agreement with Atalanta to sign 21‑year‑old Italian defender Marco Palestra for a reported fee of more than €55 million, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano. The deal redirects a transaction that had been pursued by Inter Milan and represents Atalanta’s second six‑figure sale following Ederson.
In Romania, FCSB have issued an ultimatum to midfielder Florin Tânase, whose contract expires at the end of June. Club owner Gigi Becali warned that Tânase will not travel to the team’s pre‑season camp in the Netherlands unless he signs an extension, despite reported interest from a Chinese club and a €1.8 million valuation.
