Chelsea is reportedly exploring options for the future of Ecuadorian midfielder Kendry Páez. According to reports from journalist Nicolò Schira, the club is considering either a permanent sale or a new loan deal during the upcoming winter transfer window.

Páez, who joined Chelsea from Independiente del Valle, has struggled to find consistent playing time. After stints on loan at Strasbourg in France and River Plate in Argentina, he has reportedly failed to convince the coaching staff during his time with Chelsea’s Under-21 squad.

The 19-year-old was originally signed for a fee exceeding $15 million following standout performances with the Ecuador national team. His current situation highlights a period of uncertainty as he seeks a move that offers the regular minutes necessary for his professional development.
