Chelsea evaluates summer sales of Andrey Santos and Enzo Fernandez amid transfer rumours

Chelsea FC is considering selling Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos during the upcoming summer transfer window. The 22‑year‑old was signed from Vasco da Gama for roughly €13‑18 million in January 2023 and has contributed 15 goals and 10 assists in 92 appearances for the club and its previous loan side. With the club under UEFA financial‑fair‑play constraints, management may aim to double the purchase price to improve its accounts.

At the same time, midfielder Enzo Fernández has been linked with a move to Real Madrid. The Spanish club issued a formal statement denying any negotiations, emphasizing its respect for Chelsea and its lack of intent to sign the player. Fernández’s partner, Valu Cervantes, said she is happy with any decision he makes and highlighted his focus on the upcoming World Cup with Argentina. Fernández remains under contract with Chelsea until 2032 after a €107 million transfer from Benfica in January 2023.
