Chelsea eyes Fabian Ruiz and Trevoh Chalobah in summer transfer push

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has personally requested the signing of PSG midfielder Fabian Ruiz, valued at about €30 million, to reinforce the midfield ahead of the 2026/27 season after Enzo Fernández asked to leave the club. Chelsea have opened talks with Paris Saint‑Germain, considering an offer in the €20‑30 million range.

At the same time, Chelsea are pursuing Como defender Trevoh Chalobah. An improved bid of £23.3 million has been submitted, but the London club expects a fee of around €40 million. Chalobah, who is at the England camp for the 2026 World Cup, also attracts interest from Inter Milan.
