Chelsea FC renovates community sports courts in Guayaquil

Chelsea FC has renovated two community sports courts in the Guasmo Norte neighborhood of Guayaquil, Ecuador, as part of its international ‘Can’t Tame Us’ initiative. The project, which includes the complete repainting of the courts in club colors and the installation of the Chelsea crest, aims to provide improved facilities for local youth.

The renovation highlights the club’s connection to Ecuador through its players Moisés Caicedo and Kendry Páez. The site features murals dedicated to Caicedo to inspire local children. In addition to the physical upgrades, Chelsea FC has committed to maintaining and conserving the facilities for one year.

Local authorities, including Guayaquil Vice-Mayor Tatiana Coronel, participated in the inauguration. The project follows similar community initiatives previously launched by the club in Brazil.
