Chelsea FC signs Brazilian defender Denner until 2034

Chelsea FC has confirmed the signing of Brazilian defender Denner Alves Evangelista Pereira from Corinthians on a long-term contract that runs until 2034. The 18-year-old attacking left-sided defender will initially join the club’s ‘Cobham Next Gen’ development squad to bridge the gap between the academy and the senior team.

The transfer is reportedly valued at €10 million, with an additional €4 million in performance-related add-ons and a 15 per cent sell-on clause. Denner rose through the Corinthians academy and gained recognition during the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, where he recorded three goals and two assists. He is also a former Brazil Under-17 South American Championship winner.

Denner is the cousin of Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhães. His arrival follows Chelsea's recent strategy of securing young South American talent, joining other players such as Estêvão and Kendry Paez.
