Chelsea FC signs Morgan Rogers in record £117M transfer

Chelsea FC has completed a record-breaking transfer for attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers, signing him from Aston Villa for a fee of approximately £117 million (roughly €137 million or $161 million).

The 24-year-old English midfielder becomes the most expensive British player in history and sets a new club record for Chelsea, surpassing the previous mark held by Enzo Fernández. The agreement includes personal terms that secure Rogers at Stamford Bridge until June 2032. The deal also exceeds the recent high-profile transfer of Scottish midfielder Elliot Anderson to Manchester City.
