Chelsea FC targets Boca Juniors talent Tomás Aranda

Chelsea FC, through the BlueCo consortium, is considering a transfer for 19-year-old Boca Juniors attacking midfielder Tomás Aranda. Reports indicate the London club may offer up to 12.8 million euros to secure the Argentine talent.

Due to a recent fibula fracture that is expected to keep Aranda sidelined until the end of 2026, Chelsea’s strategy involves finalizing the transfer in early 2027. The plan includes potentially loaning the player to RC Strasbourg in the French league to gain experience before his full debut in London.

Aranda, who has one senior appearance for Argentina, faces competition from several clubs, including Arsenal, Liverpool, Inter Milan, and Fiorentina. While his market value is approximately 9 million euros, Boca Juniors holds a contract with him until 2029 and may seek a figure closer to 15 million pounds.
