Chelsea Freeman Hospitalized After Health Scare

Chelsea Freeman, the wife of Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Freddie Freeman, posted on Instagram that she was admitted to the hospital earlier this week. She shared a photo of herself with an IV line and thanked the EMTs, nurses, doctors and her family for the care she received. Freeman wrote that she is now home and recovering, and urged fans to seek medical attention if they feel something is wrong.

The couple, who have four children—including son Maximus, who previously battled Guillain‑Barré syndrome—have been public about family health issues. Chelsea’s recent hospital visit adds to the family’s recent medical updates but does not affect the Dodgers’ schedule.
