Chelsea luxury developments transform London property market

High-end residential and hospitality developments are transforming key areas of London, specifically within Chelsea. The Chelsea Barracks project, a 12.8-acre site on the border of Chelsea and Belgravia, has evolved into a major regeneration project following its acquisition by Qatari Diar Europe in 2008. Formerly a military base for over 140 years, the site now features landscaped garden squares and luxury residences, including properties designed by Albion Nord.

In the same district, 11 Cadogan Gardens operates as a 5-star boutique hotel and the first Relais & Châteaux property in London. The hotel offers 56 individually designed rooms and suites, alongside self-catering apartments. The property is expanding its residential offerings with new Mews Apartments and Mews Suites scheduled for Summer 2026.
