Chelsea moves to sell Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho
Chelsea Football Club is preparing to transfer Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho, who joined from Manchester United for £40 million. Manager Harry Alonso said the player’s stint at the club is ending and confirmed ongoing discussions with the club’s sports directors. The club, facing financial pressure, aims to recoup as much of its investment as possible and noted that 10 % of any future sale proceeds will be allocated to a designated fund.
Garnacho has attracted interest from several Serie A teams, with Roma leading the pursuit and clubs such as Napoli, Juventus and Milan monitoring the situation. Chelsea, however, is not entertaining loan offers and will only consider a permanent deal that satisfies its financial objectives.
