Chelsea puts Garnacho and four others up for sale

Chelsea have confirmed they are receptive to offers for Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho and four additional squad members as the club prepares for the summer transfer window. Garnacho, signed for £40 million last summer on a contract running to 2032, made just 14 Premier League starts and scored once, prompting the Blues to consider his departure.

Incoming manager Xabi Alonso, who takes charge in July, wants two or three ready‑made players and has indicated a need to trim the oversized squad. The players named as likely to leave include backup goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen, centre‑back Axel Disasi, and one of the attacking prospects Liam Delap, Marc Guiu or Nicolas Jackson. Other high‑profile names such as Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella have been linked with moves but are not actively on the market, while the club plans to give patience to recent signing Jamie Gittens.
