Chelsea targets Eduardo Camavinga amid squad overhaul
Chelsea Football Club is actively managing its squad ahead of the transfer deadline, pursuing new midfield options while facilitating several player departures.
Following unsuccessful bids for Bournemouth’s Alex Scott, which reached a high of £68 million, Chelsea has identified Eduardo Camavinga as a potential midfield target. The club is also considering Adam Wharton of Crystal Palace and Manu Kone of Roma to add depth to the squad, particularly as a contingency plan should Enzo Fernandez depart.
In terms of departures, striker Fofana has completed a permanent transfer to Swiss club Servette FC for an initial €2.5 million plus €1 million in add-ons. Additionally, left-back Wiley has joined Preston on a season-long loan. Other players, including Dario Essugo, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Marc Guiu, may also leave the club before the window closes, while Mykhailo Mudryk is expected to depart on loan.
