Chelsea and Hull City draw 2-2 at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea and newly promoted Hull City played to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge during the fourth round of the Premier League. Chelsea took an early lead in the seventh minute through Morgan Rogers, but Hull City responded with two goals from Mohamed Belloumi in the 28th and 34th minutes to take a 2-1 lead into halftime.
Chelsea managed to equalize in the 66th minute when Joao Pedro finished a cross from Cole Palmer. Despite late pressure from the home side, Hull City held on to secure the point, extending their unbeaten start to the season with eight points from four matches.
The result highlights ongoing defensive vulnerabilities for Chelsea under manager Xabi Alonso, who has called for greater defensive balance despite the team's high scoring rate. Hull City's performance, led by manager Sergej Jakirovic, has established them as a competitive side early in their top-flight campaign.
