Chelsea to sell 11 players for up to €600 million in summer transfer window

Chelsea Football Club, under new manager Xabi Alonso, is preparing a major squad overhaul ahead of the 2026‑27 season. The club plans to transfer‑list eleven members of its roster, aiming to raise roughly €500‑600 million. Reported targets include midfielder Enzo Fernandez, valued at about €140 million, and defender Trevoh Chalobah, whose move to Como is priced near €35 million. Other names on the list span the back‑line and attack, with estimated fees ranging from €3.5 million for David Datro Fofana to €87 million for Malo Gusto.

Chelsea has also added several players this window, such as Jordan Henderson, Morgan Rogers (£117 million), Maxence Lacroix, Danny Welbeck and Valentin Barco, expanding an already large squad. Alonso has indicated he would prefer to keep only four or five options per position, prompting the aggressive off‑load strategy. If the sales materialise, the club could recoup close to half a billion euros, reshaping its financial and sporting outlook for the coming season.
