Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens vows to help Xabi Alonso win everything

Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens said the club’s ambition under new manager Xabi Alonso is to "win everything" this season. Alonso, who arrived in June after a turbulent 2025‑26 campaign, previously led Bayer Leverkusen to a domestic double without defeat.

Gittens, who joined from Borussia Dortmund for £52 million, expressed confidence that recent signings such as Morgan Rogers and other newcomers will raise the team’s level. He emphasized his own fitness, noting he is "90 % fit" after recovering from a hamstring injury, and is eager to contribute more than the single goal and five assists he managed last season.

The midfielder highlighted the squad’s positive attitude and the desire to compete for the Premier League title, the FA Cup and other trophies, aiming to improve on a 10th‑place finish that left Chelsea out of European competition.
