Chelsea Wolfe releases new single ‘Seethe’ ahead of ninth album

Chelsea Wolfe has released a new single titled ‘Seethe’ ahead of her ninth studio album, ‘The Dark’, which is scheduled for release on August 21. The track features lead guitar work from Troy Van Leeuwen of Queens of the Stone Age.

The upcoming album was produced by Jennifer Decilveo and long-time collaborator Ben Chisholm. Wolfe noted that working with Decilveo helped clarify the creative direction of the project, leading her to focus on foundational instruments like acoustic guitar and piano to build the songs.

In addition to Van Leeuwen, the new record includes guest appearances from Robin Finck of Nine Inch Nails, Matt Chamberlain, and members of Kælan Mikla. A touring campaign is planned to support the release, featuring dates across the United States and Europe.
