Cheltenham Literature Festival announces autumn program
The Cheltenham Literature Festival, organized by The Times and Sunday Times, is scheduled to take place from October 9 to 18. The program features a variety of bestselling authors, celebrity guests, and discussions on social and political issues.
Notable literary figures participating include Elif Shafak, Victoria Hislop, Maggie O’Farrell, Yann Martel, and Sebastian Faulks. Jeffrey Archer is set to discuss his final novel, Adam and Eve, alongside Ayesha Hazarika. Barbara Kingsolver will receive the Sunday Times Award for Literary Excellence. The festival also includes musical elements, featuring Dave Rowntree of Blur and Neil Codling of Suede.
In addition to fiction, the event will host non-fiction and current affairs panels, including a session with Ian Hislop marking 40 years as editor of Private Eye.
