Chen Meiling reunites with accomplished sisters in Tokyo
Singer and educator Chen Meiling recently shared photos on Instagram of a “Girl’s Day” gathering with her two elder sisters in Tokyo. The reunion highlighted the diverse and prominent achievements of the three sisters.
The eldest sister, Chen Yiling, was a well-known Shaw Brothers film and recording star during the 1960s and 1970s before marrying businessman Chu Ka-yan. The second sister, Chen Xiling, is a pediatrician graduated from the University of Hong Kong and the founder and chairperson of the health brand Vitagen. Her husband, Tse Tak-fu, is a prominent cardiologist known as a “doctor to the wealthy.”
Chen Meiling, who holds a doctorate in education from Stanford University, is recognized as a singer, author, and educator. She has lived in Japan for many years following her marriage to Japanese manager Kaneko Tsutomu. She is also noted for her academic success in parenting, having raised three sons who all attended Stanford University.
