Chengdu blogger completes 150m² retro-style home renovation

A blogger in Chengdu, China, has completed a year-long renovation of a 150m² duplex apartment designed to serve as a peaceful retreat. The home, owned by a woman born in 1995 and her partner, is the result of ten years of effort.

The interior features a retro-inspired design characterized by a palette of grey, white, and dark wood. To maintain an open and seamless feel, the owners opted for a layout without many partitions, allowing functional spaces to connect directly. The design emphasizes minimalism and ‘breathing room,’ avoiding excessive furniture to create a calming atmosphere intended for relaxation and recharging.
