Chennai gold prices rise on October 24, 2026

Gold prices in Chennai saw a slight increase on October 24, 2026. The price for 22-carat gold rose by Rs 80 per sovereign, reaching Rs 1,04,560, while the price per gram increased by Rs 10 to Rs 13,070.

In contrast, silver prices experienced a decrease of Rs 5 per gram, bringing the rate to Rs 220 per gram (Rs 2,20,000 per kg).

Compared to the same date in the previous year, gold prices have risen significantly. On October 24, 2025, the price was Rs 92,320 per sovereign, representing a year-on-year increase of approximately 13.25%.
