Telugu romantic entertainer *Chennai Love Story* is set to hit theatres on July 24. The makers have scheduled a grand trailer launch at AAA Cinemas on July 23, hoping the event will generate the buzz the film has struggled to create so far. Comparisons are being drawn with the earlier hit *Baby*, whose pre‑release hype propelled it to a gross of about Rs 80 crore.

Director Ravi Namburii posted an Instagram clip of the final dubbing session, saying he felt emotional when he said “action” to lead actor Kiran Abbavaram for the last time. The post highlighted his connection with the cast, including female lead Sri Gouri Priya, and underscored the personal significance of completing the film’s production.
