Chennai Love Story secures Rs 35 crore pre‑release revenue ahead of July 24 launch

The upcoming Telugu romantic drama *Chennai Love Story* has reportedly recovered its production cost before hitting theatres, with theatrical, OTT and satellite rights sold for around Rs 35 crore. The film, directed by Ravi Namburii and starring Kiran Abbavaram as Steven Sankar opposite Sri Gouri Priya as Nivi, is scheduled for a worldwide release on 24 July.

Producers Mass Movie Makers and Amrutha Productions disclosed the character details on Abbavaram’s birthday, highlighting the film’s youthful teaser and music by Mani Sharma. While the venture enters the profit zone, its box‑office performance will still depend on audience response, especially as it competes with Vijay’s *Jana Nayagan* releasing the same weekend.
