Chennai Open 2026 to begin at TNGF Cosmo Golf Course

The fifth edition of the Chennai Open 2026, organized by the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), is scheduled to take place at the TNGF Cosmo Golf Course from September 8 to 11. The tournament features a prize purse of INR 1 crore.

The field includes prominent Indian professionals such as Saptak Talwar, Veer Ahlawat, and Om Prakash Chouhan. Defending champion N. Thangaraja of Sri Lanka will compete alongside an international roster including players from Bangladesh, Thailand, Japan, the Czech Republic, Uganda, Nepal, the United States, and Ireland.

Chennai-based professionals S. Prasanth, S. John Royan, Ilayaraja C., and C. Arul will represent the local challenge. The event is powered by CPCL, which aims to support the development of golf in the region.
