Chennai power shutdown scheduled for June 25

On Thursday, June 25, electricity supply will be interrupted in several Chennai neighborhoods for scheduled maintenance. The shutdown is planned from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with power expected to be restored before 2 p.m. if work finishes early. Affected areas include parts of Thirunermalai, Thirumudivakkam, Iyyappanthangal and Annasalai, covering streets such as Theradi Street, East Mada Street, VGN Mahalakshmi Nagar and many residential and commercial blocks. Residents and businesses in these zones have been advised to prepare for the temporary loss of electricity.
