Persib Bandung loans Ramon Tanque to Chennaiyin FC

Persib Bandung has officially loaned Brazilian striker Ramon Tanque to Indian club Chennaiyin FC for the 2026-2027 season. The decision follows Super League regulations that limit clubs to a maximum of 11 foreign players, whereas Persib currently holds 12. Deputy CEO Adhitia Putra Herawan stated the move aims to optimize the squad while providing Tanque with competitive playing time and career development.

As the BRI Super League 2026-2027 season approaches, Persib Bandung is preparing for its opening match against PSM Makassar. Head coach Igor Tolic emphasized a step-by-step approach, focusing on the immediate match against Makassar before addressing the high-profile second-week rivalry against Persija Jakarta. Tolic also noted the importance of psychological stability for players facing intense atmospheres, such as the upcoming match at Gelora Bung Karno, where away supporters (Bobotoh) will be restricted due to security and rivalry protocols.

Persib has also undergone squad changes, bringing in several new players including Gabriel Mutombo, Danijel Loncar, Gakuto Notsuda, Luka Menalo, Balsa Sekulic, and Mariano Peralta. Captain Marc Klok highlighted the need for new arrivals to adapt quickly to the club's high-pressure environment and intense fan support.
