Cheongna Living Culture Center completes construction in Seohae-gu

The Cheongna Living Culture Center in Seohae-gu, Incheon, has completed construction and is preparing to open to the public by the end of the year. The facility, which spans four floors with a total floor area of 2,748 square meters, is designed as a multi-purpose community space providing cultural, childcare, and youth services.

The project faced significant delays after the original contractor abandoned the work. Following the disruption, Seohae-gu administration responded by selecting a new contractor in March 2026 and accelerating construction to finish the building by August 2026. The center is expected to improve local accessibility to welfare and cultural services while fostering community interaction across different age groups.
