Cher continues to enjoy skiing nearly 30 years after Sonny Bono's death

Singer Cher has revealed that she continues to enjoy skiing, nearly 30 years after the death of her former husband, Sonny Bono, in a skiing accident. In a recent interview with British Vogue, the 80-year-old singer stated that she and her children, Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman, still participate in the winter sport.

Cher noted that she particularly loves skiing in Aspen and often takes spontaneous trips with her family and close friends, including Richard and Laurie Stark, the founders of Chrome Hearts. She described herself as a “spur-of-the-moment kind of person” rather than a meticulous planner.

Sonny Bono passed away in January 1998 after crashing into a tree while skiing near Lake Tahoe, California. Despite the tragedy, Cher expressed that she does not view him as truly gone, noting that she often feels his presence.
