Cherie DeVaux targets additional success at Breeders’ Cup

Cherie DeVaux, the first woman to train a Kentucky Derby winner, is competing in the Breeders’ Cup World Championship at Keeneland. Following her historic victory with Golden Tempo at Churchill Downs, DeVaux aims to secure further accolades, including the possibility of becoming the first female trainer to win the Eclipse Award for trainer of the year.

DeVaux has three notable contenders in the upcoming races: Englishman, the favorite in the $1 million Sprint; Brilliant Berti, a long shot in the $2 million Mile; and Golden Tempo, who enters the $7 million Classic at 5-1 odds.
