Chery unveils Tiggo 7, Tiggo X7, and LEPAS AURA concept

Chery Group has held a series of global product reveals in Wuhu, China, introducing several new automotive developments. The company debuted the next generation of the Tiggo 7 and the new Tiggo X7, which inaugurates the 'Tiggo X' range. The Tiggo 7 focuses on daily comfort with features such as massage seats and a 'Natural Energy' aesthetic, while the Tiggo X7 is positioned as a more rugged, adventure-oriented SUV with hybrid powertrain options and all-wheel-drive capabilities.

In addition to the Tiggo series, Chery’s premium brand LEPAS unveiled its first concept vehicle, the AURA, during the Global Elegance Night. The AURA concept utilizes the 'Leopard Aesthetics' design language, characterized by fluid surfaces and muscular proportions inspired by a leopard.

Chery also demonstrated vehicle safety through a live crash test of the Tiggo 7, which underwent a 50 km/h frontal collision with a truck. The company reported that the vehicle's structural integrity was maintained, with minimal cabin intrusion. Furthermore, Chery’s robotics subsidiary, AiMOGA Robotics, introduced Mobo, a consumer-oriented humanoid robot designed for home use, marking the company's expansion into intelligent lifestyle technologies.
