Chery expands European SUV presence with Tiggo series

Chinese automotive manufacturer Chery is expanding its presence in the European market with a new strategy centered on its Tiggo X SUV series. To appeal to European drivers, the company is focusing on what its engineers call a ‘German feeling,’ which emphasizes precise steering, a stiff chassis, and a suspension system tuned to handle various road qualities.

In the Czech Republic, Chery importer Astana Motors Czech is launching a roadshow from September 24 to November 1, 2026. The event will feature 24 stops across the country, including cities such as Prague, Brno, and Ostrava, allowing potential customers to test drive hybrid and plug-in hybrid models, specifically the Tiggo 4 HEV, Tiggo 7 HEV, Tiggo 8 PHEV, and Tiggo 9 PHEV.
