Chery Group records record global shipments and expands luxury SUV sales in Pakistan

In April 2026, Chinese automaker Chery Group posted a global delivery of 251,386 vehicles, a 25.2% increase from the same month a year earlier. International shipments topped 177,573 units, rising 102.4% year‑on‑year and setting a new monthly record for the China‑based manufacturer. Sales of new‑energy vehicles (NEVs) reached 100,276 units, up 63.8% from April 2025, driven by the company's “New Energy + New Fuel” strategy that blends conventional, hybrid and fully electric models.

Chery, which has been the top auto exporter from China for 23 consecutive years and operates in more than 130 markets, is also strengthening its presence in Pakistan by promoting a luxury SUV line. The push aims to broaden the brand’s footprint in South Asia and capitalize on growing demand for premium SUVs.

These developments highlight Chery’s accelerating global expansion and its focus on electrified vehicles.
