Chery launches Chery Q electric hatchback in Nigeria and Indonesia

Chery has introduced the Chery Q, a compact electric hatchback designed for urban mobility, in markets including Nigeria and Indonesia. The vehicle is built on a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive platform and features a 2,700mm wheelbase to maximize cabin space and flexibility for professionals and families.

Key technical specifications include a 15.6-inch high-definition touchscreen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Safety features include a Level 2 Intelligent Driver Assistance System with over 20 functions, such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, and a 540-degree panoramic camera.

The vehicle offers significant storage capacity, including a 70-litre front trunk with a power-opening system and a total luggage capacity that can expand up to 1,450 litres. Design elements include geometric styling and award-winning aesthetics recognized by the Red Dot and iF Design Awards.
