Chery launches Tiggo 7 CSH plug‑in hybrid SUV in Argentina

Chery unveiled its Tiggo 7 CSH plug‑in hybrid SUV in Argentina at a launch event held in the Mesa Tres restaurant on the Costanera of Buenos Aires. The model is part of the brand’s electrification push and joins the Tiggo 7 Pro Hybrid and the Arrizo 8 CSH in the local lineup.

The Tiggo 7 CSH pairs a 1.5 L turbo gasoline engine (143 hp, 215 Nm) with an electric motor (204 hp, 310 Nm) to deliver a combined 278 hp and 365 Nm of torque. It is powered by an 18.4 kWh lithium‑iron‑phosphate battery that provides up to 93 km of electric‑only range (NEDC) and a total combined range of about 1 200 km with a 60‑liter fuel tank. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 8.5 seconds and the top speed is 180 km/h.

Charging is supported at up to 6.6 kW AC and 40 kW DC fast‑charge, with a portable charger and a wall‑mounted charger supplied. The vehicle is equipped with a 12.3‑inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3‑inch multimedia screen, Sony audio, eco‑leather upholstery, 18‑inch alloy wheels, a panoramic roof and 17 advanced driver‑assist systems. It is priced at roughly USD 36,500.
